Malicious code in ded-pwa-c-boxy (npm) 0 The npm package ded-pwa-c-boxy version 35.9.1 contains malicious code that loads a hidden native binary from suspicious external hosts. This binary is downloaded, saved to temporary system directories under disguised filenames, given executable permissions, and executed detached from the main process. The package attempts to evade detection by gating execution on environment variables and filesystem markers. The declared package purpose is unrelated to this behavior, and the external hosts used for payload delivery are anonymous Cloudflare Workers subdomains and lookalike DNS namespaces.
