Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress versions up to and including 4.2.3 contains a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to access sensitive information. Specifically, attackers can extract the full post content and plaintext post passwords of private, draft, pending, and future posts from any author, including administrators and editors. The vulnerability is due to missing authorization checks related to the 'keys_conversion_map' parameter.
The Hello Plus plugin for WordPress contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in all versions up to and including 1.7.7. This flaw allows authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher to publish their own header/footer templates and draft templates owned by users with higher privileges. The vulnerability arises from improper verification of user authorization when performing certain actions within the plugin.
The Image Optimizer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion in versions up to and including 1.7.4. This is due to insufficient path validation in the Image_Backup::remove() function where backup file paths stored in post meta are used directly in file deletion operations without verifying they are within the uploads directory. The plugin stores backup file paths in the image_optimizer_metadata post meta field and trusts these paths completely when deleting backups on the delete_attachment hook. An authenticated attacker with Author-level access can edit the image_optimizer_metadata post meta on their own attachments via WordPress's Custom Fields interface, injecting arbitrary absolute file paths into the backups array. When the attacker subsequently deletes the attachment, the plugin calls File_System::delete() on each path without validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server within the web server's filesystem permissions, potentially leading to denial of service, data loss, or security degradation.
CVE-2026-7567 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in the Temporary Login plugin for WordPress by elemntor. It affects versions up to and including 1.0.0. The flaw occurs due to improper input validation of the 'temp-login-token' GET parameter, which can be supplied as an array to bypass authentication. This allows attackers to gain access as any active temporary login user via a crafted GET request. The vulnerability has a CVSS score of 9.8, indicating a critical risk. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available from the vendor.
The Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the _elementor_data meta field in versions up to, and including, 4.0.4. This is due to insufficient input sanitization when processing form-encoded REST API requests. The plugin registers the _elementor_data meta field with show_in_rest but omits a sanitize_callback, relying instead on a rest_pre_insert_post filter (sanitize_post_data function) that only sanitizes JSON-encoded request bodies. When a contributor sends a form-encoded PATCH request to the WordPress REST API, the json_decode() call on the raw body returns null, causing all sanitization to be skipped. The unsanitized data is then stored via update_post_meta() and later output without escaping through multiple widget sinks including the HTML widget's print_unescaped_setting() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress up to version 3.35.5 contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Authenticated users with Contributor-level access or higher can inject malicious scripts via several widget parameters. These scripts execute when any user views the affected page. The vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. The CVSS score is 6.4, indicating a medium severity level. No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available. There are no known exploits in the wild at this time.
The Elementor Website Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Incorrect Authorization to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 3.35.7. This is due to a logic error in the is_allowed_to_read_template() function permission check that treats non-published templates as readable without verifying edit capabilities. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to read private or draft Elementor template content via the 'template_id' supplied to the 'get_template_data' action of the 'elementor_ajax' endpoint.
The Ally – Web Accessibility & Usability plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to SQL Injection via the URL path in all versions up to, and including, 4.0.3. This is due to insufficient escaping on the user-supplied URL parameter in the `get_global_remediations()` method, where it is directly concatenated into an SQL JOIN clause without proper sanitization for SQL context. While `esc_url_raw()` is applied for URL safety, it does not prevent SQL metacharacters (single quotes, parentheses) from being injected. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries that can be used to extract sensitive information from the database via time-based blind SQL injection techniques. The Remediation module must be active, which requires the plugin to be connected to an Elementor account.
The Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's Text Path widget in all versions up to, and including, 3.33.3 due to insufficient neutralization of user-supplied input used to build SVG markup inside the widget. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
The Ally – Web Accessibility & Usability plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Cross-Site Request Forgery in all versions up to, and including, 3.8.0. This is due to missing or incorrect nonce validation on the enable_unfiltered_files_upload function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to enable unfiltered file upload and add svg files to the upload list via a forged request granted they can trick a site administrator into performing an action such as clicking on a link.
The Elementor plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 3.30.2 via the Import_Images::import() function due to insufficient controls on the filename specified. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with administrator-level access and above, to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The Elementor Website Builder – More Than Just a Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the data-text DOM element attribute in Text Path widget in all versions up to, and including, 3.30.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This attack affects only Chrome/Edge browsers
The Elementor Website Builder – More Than Just a Page Builder plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the plugin's 'elementor-element' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 3.29.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This only impacts sites with 'Element Caching' enabled.
The Site Mailer – SMTP Replacement, Email API Deliverability & Email Log plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting in all versions up to, and including, 1.2.3 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
