| Medium | 6.3 | EPSS 0.3% | CVE-2026-110974android-json · Uncontrolled Recursion Medium6.3EPSS 0.3%CVE Database V5CVE-2026-110974 The org.json parser in com.vaadin.external.google:android-json recurses once per nesting level with no depth limit: JSONTokener.nextValue() calls readArray() and readObject(), which call nextValue() again. A deeply nested JSON document, around 20 KB of nested arrays with the default thread stack, makes the JSONArray and JSONObject constructors throw a raw java.lang.StackOverflowError instead of a JSONException. Any application that parses untrusted JSON with this library can be made to fail the thread doing the parsing. The artifact is a 2013 repackage of third-party org.json classes, published once and never maintained, and no fixed version will be released. Users of the affected version should apply the following mitigation. Product version com.vaadin.external.google:android-json 0.0.20131108.vaadin1 Mitigation No fixed version will be released. Replace the artifact with an org.json implementation that limits the nesting depth, such as org.json:json 20231013 or later. | High | 8.7 | EPSS 0.3% | CVE-2026-110803framework · Improper Locking High8.7EPSS 0.3%CVE Database V5CVE-2026-110803 Vaadin Framework 8 versions from 8.16.0 up to 8.32.1 contain an improper locking vulnerability in VaadinService.requestEnd(). A non-numeric v-uiId request parameter causes an exception while holding a session lock, preventing the lock from being released. This leads to subsequent requests blocking indefinitely and can exhaust the server's thread pool, causing a denial of service. No authentication is required beyond a session cookie. Vaadin Framework 7 and versions 10 and later are not affected. The issue is fixed in Vaadin Framework 8.32.2 and later. | CVE Database V5 | ||
| Low | 1.6 | EPSS 0.1% | Low1.6EPSS 0.1%CVE Database V5CVE-2026-7860 A possible information disclosure vulnerability exists in the Vaadin Maven plugin and Vaadin Gradle plugin that exposes the full set of environment variables in build logs whenever the frontend build process exits with a non-zero status. Because the build environment may contain credentials supplied as secrets, any failed frontend build can expose those secrets in clear text in CI logs and archived build artifacts. Users of affected versions should apply the following mitigation or upgrade. Releases that have fixed this issue include: Product version Vaadin 23.0.0 - 23.6.9 Vaadin 24.0.0 - 24.9.16 Vaadin 24.10.0 - 24.10.3 Vaadin 25.0.0 - 25.0.10 Vaadin 25.1.0 - 25.1.4 Mitigation Upgrade to 23.6.10 Upgrade to 24.9.17 or newer Upgrade to 24.10.4 or newer Upgrade to 25.0.11 or newer Upgrade to 25.1.5 or newer Please note that Vaadin versions 10-13 and 15-22 are no longer supported and you should update either to the latest 23, 24, or 25 version. | Low | 2.3 | EPSS 0.4% | CVE-2026-2741flow · Path Traversal Low2.3EPSS 0.4%CVE Database V5CVE-2026-2741 Specially crafted ZIP archives can escape the intended extraction directory during Node.js download and extraction in Vaadin 14.2.0 through 14.14.0, 23.0.0 through 23.6.6, 24.0.0 through 24.9.8, and 25.0.0 through 25.0.2. Vaadin’s build process can automatically download and extract Node.js if it is not installed locally. If an attacker can intercept or control this download via DNS hijacking, a MITM attack, a compromised mirror, or a supply chain attack, they can serve a malicious archive containing path traversal sequences that write files outside the intended extraction directory. Users of affected versions should use a globally preinstalled Node.js version compatible with their Vaadin version, or upgrade as follows: 14.2.0-14.14.0 to 14.14.1, 23.0.0-23.6.6 to 23.6.7, 24.0.0-24.9.8 to 24.9.9, and 25.0.0-25.0.2 to 25.0.3 or newer. Please note that Vaadin versions 10-13 and 15-22 are no longer supported and you should update either to the latest 14, 23, 24, 25 version. | CVE Database V5 |
