AI-suggested
Upgrade vtenext to version 25.02.2 or later, where this CSRF protection bypass is fixed. Applying this official fix will ensure that CSRF tokens are properly validated for all relevant request methods, preventing this bypass. No other mitigation is indicated by the vendor advisory.
Description
vtenext versions before 25.02.2 are vulnerable to a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) protection bypass. The vulnerability arises because the csrf_check() function skips CSRF token validation for non-POST requests, allowing attackers to trick logged-in users into executing state-changing GET requests. This can lead to unauthorized actions performed with the user's privileges.
