Description
CVE-2026-108949 is a memory leak vulnerability in Apache ActiveMQ and ActiveMQ Broker that can lead to denial of service via out-of-memory (OOM) conditions. An authenticated OpenWire client sending a ConsumerInfo for a temporary queue/topic owned by another connection causes the broker to reject the request but leaves behind rejected subscriptions in memory. Repeated exploitation causes heap exhaustion. The issue affects Apache ActiveMQ versions from 6.0.0 before 6.3.3 and versions before 5.19.12. Fixed versions are 6.3.3 and 5.19.12.
