Description
The svg-sanitizer library versions from 0.5.0 up to but not including 1.1.0 have an incomplete filtering vulnerability. This flaw allows attackers to bypass remote URL removal by embedding CSS escape sequences inside url() functions within SVG presentation attributes. As a result, attackers can craft SVG files with attributes such as fill containing escaped slashes that browsers interpret as remote URLs, causing external requests that may lead to data exfiltration.
