AI-suggested

A patch is available that fixes this vulnerability in GitLab version 17.6.0. Users should upgrade to version 17.6.0 or later to remediate the issue.

Description

A vulnerability in GitLab CE/EE versions from 17.1 up to but not including 17.6.0 allows an attacker with maintainer privileges to execute a pipeline as the project owner under certain conditions. This elevates the execution privileges unnecessarily beyond the maintainer role.
