CyberChef is a web app for encryption, encoding, compression, and data analysis. Prior to 11.3.0, CyberChef's pretty-recipe parser in src/core/Utils.mjs can exhaust client-side CPU when a malformed #recipe= URL fragment containing a large number of unmatched quote characters reaches Utils.parseRecipeConfig(). The function synchronously applies a complex global regular expression that may perform heavy backtracking before rejecting the input, causing the victim's browser tab to freeze during startup for seconds or longer. No code execution, data exfiltration, or privilege escalation occurs. This issue is fixed in version 11.3.0.
Improper validation of length fields in the Apache IoTDB RPC service may allow a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service. By sending a crafted malformed Thrift frame, an attacker can cause IoTDB to allocate an excessive amount of memory and crash with an OutOfMemoryError.
This issue affects Apache IoTDB: before 1.3.8, from 2.0.0 before 2.0.9.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 2.0.10, which fixes the issue.
The WP MAPS PRO WordPress plugin before 6.1.3 does not perform a capability check in one of its AJAX actions, which is also available to unauthenticated users, and does not restrict the operation it dispatches, allowing unauthenticated attackers to trigger uncontrolled recursion that exhausts server resources, resulting in a Denial of Service.
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Versions from 1.7.14 through 1.7.17 are vulnerable to a remotely triggerable denial of service. Both REST APIs are started with the Gin Engine.Run convenience method, which serves requests through Go's default HTTP server with no ReadHeaderTimeout, ReadTimeout, or MaxHeaderBytes configured. As a result, incoming connections that never complete their request headers are held open indefinitely. When a REST listener is reachable beyond localhost through the documented all-interface bind or a Docker port-publish deployment, a single unauthenticated client can open many slow-header connections and hold them open until server file descriptors are exhausted, preventing the API from accepting new connections. This renders the REST API unavailable to legitimate clients. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18.
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. In versions 1.7.14 through 1.7.17, the direct-message ingress handler spawns a new goroutine for every incoming direct message before the processor-level antiflood layer makes any admission decision, with no semaphore, throttler, or bound on the number of concurrent in-flight spawns. Because the antiflood check runs inside the spawned goroutine rather than before it, a single connected peer can open a direct-send stream and send a stream of well-formed messages to force unbounded goroutine creation, where each goroutine allocates its own stack and holds a message reference until processing completes, adding scheduler and garbage-collection pressure faster than the runtime can drain it. This lets one peer degrade the node's availability and its ability to process legitimate traffic, resulting in a remotely triggerable denial of service. The issue is fixed in 1.7.18.
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. In versions prior to 1.7.18, the account-data trie syncers are vulnerable to a resource-exhaustion flaw that leaks bounded throttler slots on error paths. In syncDataTrie() (in both userAccountsSyncer.go and kappAccountsSyncer.go), StartProcessing() reserves a slot from the NumGoRoutinesThrottler, but the corresponding EndProcessing() is only called on the success path and on the duplicate-root early return. As a result, any error from trie.NewTrie(), trie.NewTrieSyncer(), or trieSyncer.StartSyncing() (including the network-dependent timeout path) permanently consumes one slot for the lifetime of the throttler. An attacker who can repeatedly cause trie-node sync failures or timeouts during bootstrap can exhaust the bounded throttler, after which further account-data trie syncs stop making progress and SyncAccounts() returns a timeout. Because epoch bootstrap in syncUserAccountsState() and syncKappAccountsState() aborts on any such error, this causes bootstrap to fail, a core availability issue affecting fresh, restarting, or resyncing nodes and validators. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18.
Klever-Go is the Go implementation of the Klever blockchain protocol. Prior to 1.7.18, the P2P resolver request handling logic is vulnerable to hash-array amplification. A connected peer can send a compressed RequestDataType_HashArrayType direct request that is only 442 bytes on the wire but expands into 200,000 decoded hash entries inside the resolver path. The resolver's antiflood logic counts only a single logical message and the compressed wire size, and while Batch.Decompress() caps the decompressed byte size, it never limits the number of decoded repeated-field items. As a result, both TxResolver and TrieNodeResolver preallocate and iterate over the entire unchecked set of decoded hashes, causing remote memory and CPU amplification against any node that accepts P2P peer connections. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.18.
HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, XhtmlParser.java imposes no maximum element nesting depth, so a deeply nested text.div narrative triggers unbounded recursion between parseElementInner() and parseElement(), raising a StackOverflowError. An attacker who can submit FHIR resources containing such narratives can thus crash a parsing or validation worker thread, affecting validator services and any application that parses attacker-supplied FHIR JSON or XML. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.
pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to 6.15.0, a crafted PDF can cause large memory consumption when pypdf/_cmap.py function parse_bfrange parses unusually large source-code or destination-string tokens in a font /ToUnicode CMap during text extraction. This issue is fixed in 6.15.0.
Consul Community Edition and Consul Enterprise 1.3.0 through 2.0.2 are vulnerable to an unauthenticated denial of service in several agent HTTP API endpoints. A remote caller could cause the agent to consume substantial memory before the request was rejected. This vulnerability, CVE-2026-19113, is fixed in Consul 2.0.3 and Consul Enterprise 1.21.17, 1.22.11, and 2.0.3.
HAPI FHIR is a complete implementation of the HL7 FHIR standard for healthcare interoperability in Java. Prior to 6.9.11, the JSON utility parser in org.hl7.fhir.utilities.json.parser.JsonParser enforces no maximum nesting depth for arrays or objects. As a result, a small but deeply nested, syntactically valid FHIR JSON document can trigger unbounded readArray() or readObject() recursion, raising a StackOverflowError before structural validation runs. An attacker who can submit JSON resources for validation can thus crash the request thread, and services that do not isolate StackOverflowError safely may experience worker loss or process instability — a denial-of-service condition. This issue is fixed in version 6.9.11.
WP Maps WordPress plugin versions before 4.9.7 contain a vulnerability where an AJAX action lacks proper capability checks, allowing Subscriber-level users to trigger uncontrolled recursion. This leads to exhaustion of server resources and results in a Denial of Service condition. The vulnerability is identified as CWE-400 (Uncontrolled Resource Consumption) and has a CVSS score of 6.5 (medium severity). No official patch or remediation guidance is currently available.
aiosend is a synchronous and asynchronous Crypto Pay API client. Pror to version 3.0.7, `WebhookHandler.feed_update()` deserializes the entire request body before verifying the HMAC signature. This allows an unauthenticated attacker to force expensive parsing of arbitrary JSON payloads that will ultimately be rejected, leading to unnecessary CPU and memory consumption. Version 3.0.7 fixes the issue. Some workarounds are available. Restrict request body size at the reverse proxy or web framework, rate-limit webhook endpoints, and/or reject oversized requests before JSON parsing.
CVE-2026-64958 is a denial of service vulnerability in Apache CXF caused by an incomplete fix for a previous issue (CVE-2026-50645). The flaw allows attackers to exhaust resources by sending messages with many attachment headers. The issue is resolved in Apache CXF versions 4.2.3, 4.1.8, and 3.6.12.
Apache CXF versions prior to 4.2.3, 4.1.8, and 3.6.12 do not set a default limit on the number of form parameters in JAX-RS messages. This lack of a default limit can lead to uncontrolled resource consumption, potentially causing denial of service (DoS) conditions when processing requests with very large numbers of form parameters. The issue is addressed by introducing a default limit of 500 parameters in the fixed versions.
A denial of service vulnerability exists in open62541 version 1.5.5 and earlier due to an issue in the NodeManagement type-instantiation logic. This flaw allows a remote attacker to cause service disruption without requiring authentication or user interaction.
CVE-2026-48834 is a high-severity vulnerability in Apache Answer up to version 2.0.1. It involves improper handling of length parameter inconsistencies, allowing unauthenticated attackers to cause a denial of service by sending a specially crafted Accept-Language header that triggers excessive CPU consumption during parsing. The issue is fixed in version 2.0.2.
Eclipse Milo versions 1.0.0 through 1.1.4 contain a vulnerability where monitored-item quota accounting is not exception-safe. An unauthenticated remote client can trigger a StackOverflowError by sending deeply nested PubSub ExtensionObjects in a CreateMonitoredItems event filter. This causes the server-global monitored-item quota to be exhausted and prevents new monitored items from being created until the server is restarted. Existing monitored items and other server functions remain unaffected.
