CVE-2025-35053 is a medium severity path traversal vulnerability in Newforma Project Center that allows authenticated users to read and delete arbitrary files with NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService privileges via the '/UserWeb/Common/MarkupServices.ashx' endpoint. Versions before 2023.1 have anonymous access enabled by default (CVE-2025-35062), enabling unauthenticated attackers to exploit this vulnerability effectively as anonymous users. The vulnerability arises from improper limitation of pathname to restricted directories (CWE-22) and improper handling of file operations (CWE-73). Exploitation does not require user interaction but does require at least authenticated or anonymous access depending on version. The CVSS 3.1 base score is 6.4, reflecting a medium severity with network attack vector, low attack complexity, low privileges required, no user interaction, and partial confidentiality and availability impact. No known exploits are currently reported in the wild.
The Motors – Car Dealership & Classified Listings Plugin plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation when deleting profile pictures in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.89. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
The Backup Bolt plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file downloads and backup location writes in all versions up to, and including, 1.4.1 via the process_backup_batch() function. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to download directories outside of the webroot and write backup zip files to arbitrary locations.
auth0-PHP is an SDK for Auth0 Authentication and Management APIs. In versions 3.3.0 through 8.16.0, the Bulk User Import endpoint in applications built with the SDK does not validate the file-path wrapper or value. Without proper validation, affected applications may accept arbitrary file paths or URLs. The vulnerability affects any application that either directly uses the Auth0-PHP SDK (versions 3.3.0–8.16.0) or indirectly relies on those versions through the Auth0/symfony, Auth0/laravel-auth0, or Auth0/wordpress SDKs. This issue is fixed in version 8.17.0.
A vulnerability in invokeai version v6.0.0a1 and below allows attackers to perform path traversal and arbitrary file deletion via the GET /api/v1/images/download/{bulk_download_item_name} endpoint. By manipulating the filename arguments, attackers can read and delete any files on the server, including critical system files such as SSH keys, databases, and configuration files. This vulnerability results in high confidentiality, integrity, and availability impacts.
The WP Import – Ultimate CSV XML Importer for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the upload_function() function in all versions up to, and including, 7.27. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
The Propovoice: All-in-One Client Management System plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Read in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.6.7 via the send_email() function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can contain sensitive information.
The Goza - Nonprofit Charity WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the alone_import_pack_restore_data() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.2.2. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
An external control of file name or path vulnerability in SUNNET Corporate Training Management System before 10.11 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary system commands via a malicious file by controlling the destination file path.
QiAnXin TianQing Management Center versions up to and including 6.7.0.4130 contain a path traversal vulnerability in the rptsvr component that allows unauthenticated attackers to upload files to arbitrary locations on the server. The /rptsvr/upload endpoint fails to sanitize the filename parameter in multipart form-data requests, enabling path traversal. This allows attackers to place executable files in web-accessible directories, potentially leading to remote code execution. Exploitation evidence was first observed by the Shadowserver Foundation on 2024-08-23 UTC.
The Wptobe-memberships plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the del_img_ajax_call() function in all versions up to, and including, 3.4.2. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
dpanel is an open source server management panel written in Go. In versions 1.2.0 through 1.7.2, dpanel allows authenticated users to read arbitrary files from the server via the /api/app/compose/get-from-uri API endpoint. The vulnerability exists in the GetFromUri function in app/application/http/controller/compose.go, where the uri parameter is passed directly to os.ReadFile without proper validation or access control. A logged-in attacker can exploit this flaw to read sensitive files from the host system, leading to information disclosure. No patched version is available as of this writing.
: External Control of File Name or Path vulnerability in TAGFREE X-Free Uploader XFU allows : Parameter Injection. This issue affects X-Free Uploader: from 1.0.1.0084 before 1.0.1.0085, from 2.0.1.0034 before 2.0.1.0035.
The glpi-screenshot-plugin allows users to take screenshots or screens recording directly from GLPI. In versions below 2.0.2, authenticated user can use the /ajax/screenshot.php endpoint to leak files from the system or use PHP wrappers. This is fixed in version 2.0.2.
The go command may execute unexpected commands when operating in untrusted VCS repositories. This occurs when possibly dangerous VCS configuration is present in repositories. This can happen when a repository was fetched via one VCS (e.g. Git), but contains metadata for another VCS (e.g. Mercurial). Modules which are retrieved using the go command line, i.e.via "go get", are not affected.
The Alone – Charity Multipurpose Non-profit WordPress Theme theme for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the alone_import_pack_restore_data() function in all versions up to, and including, 7.8.5. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). This was partially patched in 7.8.5 and has been fully addresses in 7.8.7.
The SureForms – Drag and Drop Form Builder for WordPress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the delete_entry_files() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.7.3. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php).
CVE-2025-48385 is a high-severity vulnerability in Git that allows a remote attacker to perform protocol injection via insufficient validation of advertised bundles during repository cloning. This can lead to the client writing attacker-controlled content to arbitrary locations, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. The vulnerability requires the use of bundle URIs, which are not enabled by default, and some attack scenarios require control over the clone destination or recursive cloning. Multiple fixed versions have been released to address this issue.
