LangBot's plugin runtime (pip package langbot_plugin) through 0.4.17 starts a debug WebSocket server on 0.0.0.0:5401 (/plugin/ws) whose authentication is gated on plugin_debug_key, which defaults to an empty string and is never set by the upstream repository, Docker image, or docker-compose (which additionally publishes port 5401 to the host); the key check is therefore skipped entirely. Any remote attacker able to reach the port can register an arbitrary "debug plugin" without credentials. Because events are broadcast to all initialized plugins without filtering, the attacker's plugin receives the full context of every IM message event (including private chats, message chains, and user/sender IDs in plaintext) and can inject forged replies, send messages as any configured bot, enumerate bot UUIDs, invoke configured LLM models, read knowledge-base contents, and register malicious tools that feed every user's LLM pipeline. Registering with "prod_mode": true causes later legitimate installations of a plugin with the same author/name to be rejected, resulting in persistent denial of service. No patched version was available at the time of publication.
Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Privileged stored XSS via executable URL schemes in Modals extension for Joomla < 17.0.0 - Modals treats a destination using an executable browser URL scheme as an ordinary modal URL. The value can reach both the generated link and the iframe-loading path. Authored content can consequently become JavaScript in a visitor's browser without using Modals' separate Pro JavaScript Events feature.
Joomla Extension - regularlabs.com - Privileged stored XSS via event handler option in Modals Pro extension for Joomla < 17.0.0 - Modals Pro intentionally supports JavaScript Events such as on-open and on-closed. Affected versions do not distinguish trusted extension configuration from event code supplied in ordinary article content. A lower-privileged author can therefore use a documented executable feature which should be reserved for trusted authors.
joi before versions 17.13.8 and 18.2.9 contains a prototype pollution vulnerability in the messages compilation function that accepts __proto__ as an error code. Attackers can supply __proto__ keys in custom messages to replace the returned object's prototype, breaking downstream code relying on Object.prototype methods.
The The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in all versions up to, and including, 6.17.3 via the parse_array function. This is due to insufficient validation of the widget 'classes' map, allowing a plain-array payload to bypass the is_safe_widget_instance() object check and reach the callable-invocation sink in Element_Classes::parse_array(). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute code on the server. Exploitation requires that the targeted site has comments enabled on tribe_events posts and that at least one comment containing a crafted wp:legacy-widget block has been submitted, as the attack chain is triggered when do_blocks() processes the single-event HTML including the comment area.
starlette-admin versions 0.16.1 through 0.17.1 fail to enforce the searchable_fields allowlist when configured as an empty list, allowing authenticated users to filter on non-searchable fields. Attackers can submit structured filter queries via the list API's where parameter to perform equality and comparison operations on excluded columns.
matrix-sdk-crypto is a no-network-IO implementation of a state machine that handles end-to-end encryption for Matrix clients. Starting in version 0.12.0 and prior to version 0.17.0, the matrix-sdk-crypto crate was missing a check for the user ID when decrypting an Olm-encrypted event containing the `sender_device_keys` property. This could be exploited to forge an encrypted to-device event, but only if the attacker colludes with the homeserver operator. This issue is fixed in matrix-sdk-crypto 0.17.0. There are no known workarounds for the issue.
libp2p-rendezvous through 0.17.1 fails to validate registration TTL values in discovery responses, allowing attackers to trigger timer arithmetic overflow. A malicious rendezvous server can send a discovery response with an unbounded TTL value that causes the client node process to panic when computing the expiry timer.
Netty versions 4.1.133.Final through 4.1.137.Final and 4.2.13.Final through 4.2.17.Final contain a vulnerability in the validation of the final transfer coding in the Transfer-Encoding header. This flaw allows attackers to craft malformed encoding declarations to bypass validation and perform HTTP request smuggling attacks by manipulating Transfer-Encoding headers. The vulnerability has a medium severity with a CVSS score of 6.5. No official patch or remediation information is provided in the available data.
CVE-2026-88031 is a vulnerability in the GridFS component of the MongoDB Go Driver where improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic allows a structured file identifier to be misinterpreted as a query condition. An authenticated user able to influence the identifier can cause deletion of all GridFS file chunks in the affected bucket, making stored files unreadable. The issue affects versions >=1.0.0 <1.17.10 and >=2.0.0 <2.9.1 and has been fixed in versions 1.17.10 and 2.9.1.

A stack-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Bosch Sensortec BHI385 SensorAPI (C library) within the debug message parser function bhi385_parse_debug_message (located in bhi385_parse.c).
The function parses FIFO events and extracts an 8-bit message length directly from the attacker-controlled event payload (callback_info->data_ptr[0]) without enforcing bounds checks or clamping the value.
When copying the payload into a fixed-size stack buffer of 17 bytes (uint8_t debug_msg[17]) via memcpy, providing a length byte greater than 16 causes the function to write past the allocated stack boundary.
This memory corruption can be triggered by a malicious or compromised sensor or bus participant, leading to a firmware crash, Denial of Service (DoS), or potentially the execution of arbitrary code via adjacent stack data corruption.
A vulnerability in the MongoDB extension for Visual Studio Code allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands via a specially crafted connection string. The extension fails to neutralize special characters in the connection string before embedding it into a shell command line for the integrated terminal. Exploitation requires user interaction, including accepting a user-supplied connection target and opening the shell feature. The confirmation prompt does not reveal the malicious input. This issue affects versions from 1.13.0 up to but not including 1.17.1. A patch is available to address this vulnerability.
Several Newfold plugins are vulnerable to Authentication Bypass. The vulnerability exists because the plugins bundle the wp-module-data module. In the module, the `authenticate()` method — registered on the `rest_authentication_errors` filter and therefore evaluated for every unauthenticated REST API request — performs an HMAC-style Bearer token comparison that degenerates when `HiiveConnection::get_auth_token()` returns `false`: PHP coerces `strrev(false)` to `strrev('')`, collapsing the secret salt to the publicly known constant `hash('sha256', '') = e3b0c44...`, while all remaining hash inputs (HTTP method, request URL, raw request body, and the `X-Timestamp` header) remain fully attacker-controlled. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to compute a valid Bearer token entirely offline, pass the token equality check, and have `wp_set_current_user()` invoked against the first administrator returned by `get_users(['role' => 'administrator'])`, granting full administrator-level access and enabling arbitrary REST API operations such as creating new administrator accounts and achieving complete site takeover. Vulnerable versions are WP Plugin Crazy Domains (<= 2.5.2), WP Plugin Web (<= 2.3.4), WP Plugin Hostgator (<= 3.1.0), WP Plugin Bluehost (<= 4.17.1). The affected module is vulnerable in versions up to, and including, 2.9.4.
CVE-2026-21112 is a medium severity vulnerability in Samsung Tips prior to Android 17. It involves improper input validation that allows local attackers to launch arbitrary activities with Samsung Tips privileges. Exploitation requires user interaction.
