CVE-2026-55952: CWE-1284 Improper Validation of Specified Quantity in Input in Erlang OTPCVE-2026-55952
0

A vulnerability in the Erlang/OTP ssl application allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to disrupt TLS 1.3 session ticket handling by sending a crafted ClientHello with mismatched PSK identity and binder lists. This causes the session ticket handler process to crash, making TLS 1.3 unusable on the affected listener until the ssl application is restarted. TLS 1.2 connections are not affected. The issue affects OTP versions from 22.2 up to but not including 29.0.3, 28.5.0.3, and 27.3.4.14, and ssl versions from 9.5 up to but not including 11.7.3, 11.6.0.3, and 11.2.12.10.
