Description

Next.js versions from 15.4.0 up to but not including 15.5.16, and from 16.0.0 up to but not including 16.2.5, contain an authentication bypass vulnerability. This occurs when middleware protecting dynamic routes can be circumvented by specially crafted query parameters that alter the dynamic route value without changing the visible path. This allows protected content to be accessed without passing the expected middleware checks. The vulnerability is fixed in versions 15.5.16 and 16.2.5.
