AI-suggested
A patch is available and included in Linux kernel version 5.15.0-1110.113. Users should update their systems to this version or later and reboot to apply the fixes. Due to an ABI change in the kernel update, all third-party kernel modules must be recompiled and reinstalled. Following the vendor's update instructions and rebooting the system will mitigate these vulnerabilities.
Description
Multiple security vulnerabilities were discovered in the Linux kernel for Raspberry Pi systems, including a critical issue in ARM64 processors where a broadcast TLB invalidation could complete before memory writes were globally observed. This flaw could allow a local attacker to write to memory after permissions were revoked, potentially bypassing memory protections or escalating privileges. Additional vulnerabilities affect various subsystems such as InfiniBand drivers, network drivers, exFAT filesystem, NFS client and server, and several networking protocols. These issues could be exploited to compromise the system. A patch fixing these vulnerabilities is available and included in Linux kernel version 5.15.0-1110.113.
