An authorization bypass vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed any authenticated user of the instance to read the raw diff or patch of pull requests in private repositories without authorization. Access tokens for raw pull request diffs and patches were scoped to the repository name and pull request number rather than to a globally unique repository identifier, so an attacker who created a repository and pull request matching a target's repository name and pull request number could use a token for their own repository to retrieve the private pull request's contents. Exploitation required the attacker to know the target repository's name and a valid pull request number. This vulnerability affected all versions of GitHub Enterprise Server prior to 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.17.21, 3.18.15, 3.19.12, 3.20.8, and 3.21.6. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
A stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability was identified in GitHub Enterprise Server that allowed an authenticated attacker to inject arbitrary HTML attributes into rendered Markdown because the Markdown rendering pipeline rewrote quote characters in already-sanitized HTML without re-sanitizing the result. Crafted Markdown could abuse same-origin JavaScript gadgets to bypass Content Security Policy and gain control of the page DOM when viewed by another user. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to read content visible to the victim, extract embedded CSRF tokens, perform state-changing actions as the victim, and exfiltrate data through same-origin writes. The payload could also propagate to repositories and organizations where the victim had write access. This vulnerability affected supported GitHub Enterprise Server releases in the 3.17, 3.18, 3.19, 3.20, 3.21, and 3.22 series and was fixed in versions 3.22.1, 3.21.6, 3.20.8, 3.19.12, 3.18.15, and 3.17.21. This vulnerability was reported via the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
A server-side request forgery (SSRF) vulnerability was identified in the notebook viewer of GitHub Enterprise Server. The notebook viewer validated the scheme and host of a user-supplied URL but did not validate the port, allowing requests to be directed to internal services listening on other ports of the same appliance. Response bodies were not returned to the requester, but response timing acted as an oracle that allowed instance secrets to be extracted character by character. An extracted secret could then be used in a separate interaction with an internal service to obtain remote code execution on the appliance. Exploitation required network access to the instance and was unauthenticated when private mode was disabled, or required any authenticated user when private mode was enabled. This vulnerability affected GitHub Enterprise Server versions 3.17 through 3.22 and was fixed in versions 3.22.1, 3.21.6, 3.20.8, 3.19.12, 3.18.15, and 3.17.21. This vulnerability was reported through the GitHub Bug Bounty program.
psd-tools versions prior to 1.17.4 have a vulnerability in PSDImage.composite() and PSDImage.numpy() where output buffers are allocated based on attacker-controlled PSD header geometry without proper validation. This can lead to excessive memory allocation and potential denial of service due to out-of-memory conditions. The issue is fixed in version 1.17.4.
The Web Terminal provides a way to access a fully in-browser terminal emulator within the OpenShift Console. Command-line tools for interacting with the OpenShift cluster are pre-installed.
CVE-2026-89407 is a high-severity vulnerability in FasterXML jackson-core affecting versions from 2.17.0 through 3.2.1 in specified subranges. It involves inefficient regular expression complexity in the NumberInput.looksLikeValidNumber() method, causing quadratic time complexity when processing certain numeric string inputs. This can lead to denial-of-service conditions by exhausting server resources during JSON deserialization of numeric types. The issue does not exist before version 2.17.0 and has been fixed by replacing the problematic regex with a single-pass scan.
Inefficient algorithmic complexity in the Erlang/OTP asn1 OBJECT IDENTIFIER decoder allows a remote unauthenticated attacker to cause denial of service by sending a crafted OID during the TLS handshake.
The BER OID decoder asn1rtt_ber:dec_subidentifiers/3 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_ber.erl and the equivalent PER helper asn1rtt_per_common:dec_subidentifiers/3 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_per_common.erl accumulate a base-128 subidentifier into an unbounded integer using (Av bsl 7) + H per continuation byte. Each shift and addition on the growing accumulator is linear in the number of bits already accumulated, giving quadratic total work in the size of a single subidentifier. The JER helper asn1rtt_jer:json2oid/1 in lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_jer.erl exhibits the same class of unbounded-integer parsing when decoding a dot-separated OID from JSON. A DER-encoded OBJECT IDENTIFIER with one very large arc (approximately 262 KB of continuation bytes) consumes roughly 13 seconds of CPU on typical hardware.
The vulnerable decoder is generated into every ASN.1 module that contains an OBJECT IDENTIFIER, including OTP-PUB-KEY which is reached during X.509 certificate parsing via public_key:pkix_decode_cert/2. This decoder runs before any signature or trust chain verification, so any Erlang service that parses peer TLS certificates is exposed: the default for TLS clients (which always parse the server certificate) and for mutual-TLS servers (which parse client certificates).
This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_ber.erl, lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_per_common.erl and lib/asn1/src/asn1rtt_jer.erl and program routines asn1rtt_ber:dec_subidentifiers/3, asn1rtt_per_common:dec_subidentifiers/3 and asn1rtt_jer:json2oid/1.
This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 27.3.4.18, OTP 28.5.0.7, and OTP 29.1.1, corresponding to asn1 from 3.0 before 5.3.4.3, 5.4.3.1, and 5.5.2. Whether OTP before OTP 17.0, corresponding to asn1 before 3.0, is affected is unknown.
The CMP – Coming Soon & Maintenance Plugin by NiteoThemes plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data that can lead to privilege escalation due to a missing capability check on the 'cmp_ajax_import_settings' AJAX action in all versions up to, and including, 4.1.17. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Editor-level access and above, to update arbitrary options on the WordPress site. This can be leveraged to update the default role for registration to administrator and enable user registration for attackers to gain administrative user access to a vulnerable site.
In late August, an organization was compromised by INC ransomware affecting at least 175 endpoints. The attack unfolded over several weeks with a 17-day gap, indicating involvement of an initial access broker and a separate ransomware affiliate. Early activity included scheduled tasks with randomized names and lateral movement via RDP using compromised credentials. After the pause, attackers deployed AnyDesk for remote access, used Bring Your Own Vulnerable Driver (BYOVD) techniques to disable security controls, and executed ransomware using Impacket tools. Two ransom notes were found: the standard ransom demand and a secondary data leak threat note listing stolen files and threatening to contact media, employees, and partners within 48 hours to pressure the victim.
A vulnerability in CRI-O checkpoint restore allows a user who can create a pod from a malicious checkpointed container to bypass the destination Kubernetes security context. The restored process may retain credentials, Linux capabilities, no_new_privs, and seccomp state from the checkpoint instead of enforcing the destination configuration. This can allow execution with elevated privileges across the container security boundary.
Affected upstream supported versions are CRI-O 1.34 and later. Downstream Red Hat products are affected from OCP 4.17 onward. Fixes have been applied to supported branches but are not yet released.
Exploitation requires permission to create a pod from a malicious checkpoint image and checkpoint restore functionality to be available.
A flaw has been found in OpenClaw up to 2026.9.5. Affected is the function createCanvasHostHandler of the file extensions/canvas/src/host/server.ts of the component Canvas Host Route. Executing a manipulation can lead to denial of service. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Fix suggestion's "streaming/size-limit" was never shipped - latest 2026.9.5 still buffers the whole file via readFile() (src/canvas/serve.runtime.ts:17,114), unlike the sibling WS path which caps at 64KB. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
A Regular Expression Denial of Service (ReDoS) vulnerability exists in soupsieve's whitespace/comment trimming regex RE_WS_END, which is used during CSS selector parsing. The regex is unanchored at the start and uses .search(), causing quadratic time complexity (O(n²)) on valid selectors with long whitespace or comment runs not exactly at the string end. This can cause significant CPU delays (e.g., ~10 seconds for a 20 KB selector). The issue affects soupsieve versions >=3.17.7 and <3.19.30 and is exploitable when user-controlled selectors are passed to soupsieve or BeautifulSoup's select methods. A fix is available in version 3.19.30.
The Paid Membership Plugin, Ecommerce, User Registration Form, Login Form, User Profile & Restrict Content – ProfilePress plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 4.17.2 This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, src/flow-hash.c can treat an IPv4 and IPv6 flow as equal without comparing the IP family when their raw address words, ports, protocol, VLAN, recursion level, live device, and hash bucket align. An IPv6 packet can therefore reuse IPv4 flow state or the reverse, causing incorrect flowbit state, detection bypass, or IP-only bypass. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, HTTP SWF decompression with the non-default swf-decompression feature and an unsafe decompress-depth can use the configured depth when allocating in src/util-file-decompression.c instead of limiting the allocation to the Flash file's actual data requirement. A crafted SWF response can therefore trigger an integer-related heap buffer overflow and crash Suricata; the default disabled feature and default depth are not affected. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.
Suricata is a network Intrusion Detection System, Intrusion Prevention System and Network Security Monitoring engine. Prior to 7.0.17 and 8.0.6, crafted IPv4 and IPv6 address pairs can collide in the IPPair hash because src/ippair.c did not compare the IP address family before reusing IPPair-backed state. This can apply state from one IP family to another for xbits track ip_pair, FTP data expectations, and, on the 7.0 release line, thresholding, detection_filter, and rate_filter rules using track by_both, causing incorrect detection state. This issue is fixed in versions 8.0.6 and 7.0.17.
