Next.js is a React framework for building full-stack web applications. In versions starting from 13.0 to before 14.2.30 and 15.0.0 to before 15.2.2, Next.js may have allowed limited source code exposure when the dev server was running with the App Router enabled. The vulnerability only affects local development environments and requires the user to visit a malicious webpage while npm run dev is active. This issue has been patched in versions 14.2.30 and 15.2.2.
A novel Rust-based infostealer called EDDIESTEALER has been discovered, distributed through fake CAPTCHA campaigns. The malware uses deceptive verification pages to trick users into executing a malicious PowerShell script, which deploys the infostealer. EDDIESTEALER targets sensitive data including credentials, browser information, and cryptocurrency wallet details. It communicates with a command and control server to receive tasks and exfiltrate data. The malware employs string obfuscation, API obfuscation, and other evasion techniques. It specifically targets various crypto wallets, browsers, password managers, FTP clients, and messaging applications. The use of Rust in its development reflects a growing trend among threat actors seeking enhanced stealth and resilience against traditional analysis methods.
Red Hat OpenShift Dev Spaces provides a cloud developer workspace server and a browser-based IDE built for teams and organizations. Dev Spaces runs in OpenShift and is well-suited for container-based development.
The 3.21 release is based on Eclipse Che 7.102 and uses the DevWorkspace engine to provide support for workspaces based on devfile v2.1 and v2.2.
Users still using the v1 standard should migrate as soon as possible.

AsyncRAT, a remote access trojan known since 2019, has been rewritten in Rust, marking a shift from its original C# implementation. This change aims to complicate reverse engineering efforts due to limited analysis tool support for Rust. The malware retains its core functionality, including plugin installation, code execution, and persistence. It installs via scheduled tasks or temporary directory copying, stores plugins in the registry, and communicates with command and control servers over TLS. The Rust variant supports fewer commands compared to its .NET counterpart, suggesting ongoing development. The malware collects system information, including hardware ID, OS details, and antivirus software presence. Debug strings in the samples indicate active development of this Rust version.

A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher where a cluster or node driver can be used to escape the chroot
jail and gain root access to the Rancher container itself. In
production environments, further privilege escalation is possible based
on living off the land within the Rancher container itself. For the test
and development environments, based on a –privileged Docker container,
it is possible to escape the Docker container and gain execution access
on the host system.
This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.16, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.9, from 2.9.0 before 2.9.3.
The AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) is an open-source software development framework to define cloud infrastructure in code and provision it through AWS CloudFormation. Users who use IAM OIDC custom resource provider package will download CA Thumbprints as part of the custom resource workflow. However, the current `tls.connect` method will always set `rejectUnauthorized: false` which is a potential security concern. CDK should follow the best practice and set `rejectUnauthorized: true`. However, this could be a breaking change for existing CDK applications and we should fix this with a feature flag. Note that this is marked as low severity Security advisory because the issuer url is provided by CDK users who define the CDK application. If they insist on connecting to a unauthorized OIDC provider, CDK should not disallow this. Additionally, the code block is run in a Lambda environment which mitigate the MITM attack. The patch is in progress. To mitigate, upgrade to CDK v2.177.0 (Expected release date 2025-02-22). Once upgraded, users should make sure the feature flag '@aws-cdk/aws-iam:oidcRejectUnauthorizedConnections' is set to true in `cdk.context.json` or `cdk.json`. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
Django is a high-level Python Web framework that encourages rapid

An issue in Hangzhou Xiongwei Technology Development Co., Ltd. Restaurant Digital Comprehensive Management platform v1 allows an attacker to bypass authentication and perform arbitrary password resets.
Multiple security vulnerabilities have been identified and fixed in the java-1.8.0-openjdk packages, which provide the OpenJDK 8 Java Runtime Environment and Software Development Kit. These include array index overflow, UTF8 size overflow, infinite loop due to excessive symbol length, pre-loop limit overflow, improper header validation causing increased loading time, and out-of-bounds access in 2D image handling. The vulnerabilities affect various Red Hat Enterprise Linux and SUSE versions. A security update is available and must be applied, followed by restarting all running OpenJDK Java instances for the fixes to take effect.
Strapi v4.24.4 was discovered to contain a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) via the component /strapi.io/_next/image. This vulnerability allows attackers to scan for open ports or access sensitive information via a crafted GET request. NOTE: The Strapi Development Community argues that this issue is not valid. They contend that "the strapi/admin was wrongly attributed a flaw that only pertains to the strapi.io website, and which, at the end of the day, does not pose any real SSRF risk to applications that make use of the Strapi library."

CVE-2024-27198 is a critical authentication bypass vulnerability in JetBrains TeamCity versions prior to 2023.11.4. This flaw, classified under CWE-288, allows unauthenticated attackers to perform administrative actions without proper authorization. The vulnerability has a CVSS v3.1 score of 9.8, indicating a severe risk with network attack vector, no required privileges or user interaction, and full impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Although no known exploits are currently reported in the wild, the potential for abuse is significant given TeamCity’s role in continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Organizations using affected TeamCity versions should prioritize patching to prevent unauthorized access and potential compromise of build environments. Countries with substantial use of JetBrains TeamCity and strong software development sectors are at higher risk.
Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation ('Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in Savvy Wordpress Development MyWaze allows Stored XSS.This issue affects MyWaze: from n/a through 1.6.
Laf is a cloud development platform. In the Laf version design, the log uses communication with k8s to quickly retrieve logs from the container without the need for additional storage. However, in version 1.0.0-beta.13 and prior, this interface does not verify the permissions of the pod, which allows authenticated users to obtain any pod logs under the same namespace through this method, thereby obtaining sensitive information printed in the logs. As of time of publication, no known patched versions exist.
October is a Content Management System (CMS) and web platform to assist with development workflow. A user with access to the media manager that stores SVG files could create a stored XSS attack against themselves and any other user with access to the media manager when SVG files are supported. This issue has been patched in version 3.5.2.
