LiteLLM versions from 1.87.0 up to but not including 1.100.4, and certain subsequent minor versions, contain an improper privilege management vulnerability. The proxy server reuses a cryptographic context for secrets and session tokens, enabling an authenticated internal user to forge administrator credentials. This allows escalation to administrative access and execution of arbitrary commands via the MCP stdio endpoint. Early vulnerable versions require an experimental login feature enabled, while later versions are exploitable by default. The issue is fixed in versions 1.100.4, 1.101.3, 1.102.2, 1.103.1, and 1.104.0-rc.2.
CVE-2026-108575 is a medium severity vulnerability in BerriAI LiteLLM up to version 1.94.0. It involves improper authorization in the get_secret function of the Secret Resolution component, specifically in secret_managers/main.py. The vulnerability arises from manipulation of the api_key argument, allowing remote attackers to bypass authorization controls. The issue has been publicly disclosed, but the vendor has not responded or provided a fix.
CVE-2026-108574 is an authorization bypass vulnerability in BerriAI LiteLLM versions up to 1.95.0. The flaw exists in the ui_view_session_spend_logs function of the Spend Tracking component, where manipulation of the session_id argument can bypass authorization checks. This vulnerability can be exploited remotely. An exploit has been published. Upgrading to version 1.96.0 resolves the issue.
LiteLLM in BerriAI has a weak authentication vulnerability that allows attackers with a valid JWT to impersonate any user by exploiting an email-based fallback lookup that does not verify the email_verified claim. This flaw enables attackers to inherit victim roles, including administrative privileges, and persistently overwrite identity bindings to maintain unauthorized access to sensitive endpoints.
BerriAI LiteLLM before 1.101.0-rc.1 contains a tenant isolation bypass vulnerability in the semantic cache layer that allows authenticated users to read other tenants' cached responses by exploiting a metadata key mismatch between _get_semantic_cache_tenant_scope() and _get_metadata_variable_name(). Attackers holding a valid virtual key can submit semantically similar prompts on affected routes such as /v1/responses and /bedrock/* to retrieve cached responses containing other tenants' personally identifiable information, financial data, or source code, and can cause agentic front-ends to auto-execute attacker-supplied tool calls under victim credentials by returning cached function_call or tool_calls payloads to a different principal.
CVE-2026-59823 is a Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF) vulnerability in BerriAI's LiteLLM proxy server versions prior to 1.83.9. An authenticated user with a valid virtual key could exploit this flaw by placing an api_base parameter inside the user_config request body, bypassing existing safety checks. This allows the attacker to redirect server-side requests to internal or external hosts not normally accessible, potentially exposing sensitive endpoints. The issue is resolved in version 1.83.9.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to versions 1.88.6 and 1.96.2, any authenticated LiteLLM proxy user could redirect an outbound provider call to a destination the user controls and cause the proxy to send its configured provider credentials to that destination. Request validation in litellm/proxy/auth/auth_utils.py, litellm/proxy/common_request_processing.py, litellm/proxy/health_endpoints/_health_endpoints.py, litellm/proxy/image_endpoints/endpoints.py, and litellm/proxy/litellm_pre_call_utils.py used incomplete checks that did not cover every sensitive parameter or inspect equivalent values across nested request fields, path values, and bracket-notation form data. Routing and credential parameters including api_base, base_url, model_list, fallbacks, and litellm_credential_name could therefore be applied without clearing the operator's stored key, exposing upstream provider credentials and other configured secrets and permitting server-side requests to internal services reachable by the proxy. This issue is fixed in versions 1.88.6 and 1.96.2.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.10-stable, LiteLLM's /health/test_connection endpoint resolved request-supplied environment and OIDC file references in litellm_params, allowing a proxy administrator or another privileged caller with permission to test model connections to read files from the local filesystem via an oidc/file/ reference. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.10-stable.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.84.0, LiteLLM's MCP Streamable HTTP endpoint allowed an unauthenticated attacker to use a fabricated Authorization header to trigger an OAuth2 passthrough fallback path that replaced failed LiteLLM key validation with an empty UserAPIKeyAuth() object, allowing requests to reach MCP tooling without a valid LiteLLM key. This issue is fixed in version 1.84.0.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.7-stable, LiteLLM Skills archive extraction did not sufficiently validate file paths from uploaded skill ZIP archives, allowing an authenticated user with access to LiteLLM LLM API routes or a key whose allowed_routes includes /v1/skills, anthropic_routes, or llm_api_routes to upload a crafted skill archive containing path traversal entries that could be written outside the intended extraction or staging directory. This issue is fixed in version 1.83.7-stable.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.82.0-stable, LiteLLM's Custom Code Guardrails production create and update paths did not apply the same sandboxing and validation used by the test endpoint, allowing a privileged user with access to create or update guardrails to submit custom Python code that executed in the LiteLLM proxy environment and could expose secrets available to the process. This issue is fixed in version 1.82.0-stable.
