The Simple Banner WordPress plugin before 3.3.3 does not correctly limit the capabilities it grants to the user roles an administrator allows to manage its banners, granting such roles the full administrator capability, which allows users in a low-privileged role to escalate their privileges and fully compromise the site.
The Backup and Staging by WP Time Capsule WordPress plugin before 1.22.28 does not perform capability or nonce checks on the handler that deploys a staging site to the live site, allowing any authenticated user with a Subscriber account on a WP Time Capsule staging site to overwrite the separate live site's database and configuration and take it offline.
The Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash WordPress plugin before 3.8.2 does not verify that the acting user is permitted to manage the targeted accounts before changing their verification state, allowing a subsite administrator on a multisite network to mark arbitrary network users outside their own site as unverified and prevent those users from logging in.
The Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash WordPress plugin before 3.8.2 does not validate the origin of a password-reset request, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to set the password of a user who is partway through a password reset to an attacker-chosen value through a forged request, resulting in full account takeover.
The Moloni WordPress plugin before 5.0.14 does not perform capability or nonce checks on several of its authenticated AJAX actions, relying only on whether the site holds a stored connection to its external invoicing provider, allowing any authenticated user such as a Subscriber to generate fiscal invoices for arbitrary orders, discard arbitrary orders, and create or modify products and stock.
The Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.31 does not perform authorization checks before returning calendar-account configuration in a response, allowing unauthenticated users to disclose sensitive settings including the administrator's notification email addresses.
The Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.31 does not perform any authorization or validity check before resetting its premium subscription state, allowing unauthenticated attackers to disable the Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.31's paid features.
The Booking Package WordPress plugin before 1.7.31 does not generate booking cancellation tokens using a secure source of randomness, deriving them instead from values it exposes publicly, so an unauthenticated attacker can reconstruct an arbitrary booking's token, disclose that booking's personal data and, where visitor cancellation is enabled, cancel the booking.
The Ettrick Escape Room Booking WordPress plugin before 1.3.1 does not verify a booking's payment status against the payment provider before marking it paid and confirmed, allowing unauthenticated attackers to mark bookings as paid without paying.
The Falang multilanguage for WordPress plugin before 1.4.6 does not perform a capability check when saving term translations, and exposes a valid nonce to any logged-in user through an unprotected handler, allowing users with Subscriber-level access and above to store content that is later output without proper escaping, leading to Stored Cross-Site Scripting that executes in the context of higher-privileged users such as administrators.
The Appointment Booking Plugin WordPress plugin before 5.7.5 does not verify that an authenticated agent-level user is assigned to a customer before returning or searching that customer's record, allowing any agent to read and enumerate the personal information of every customer on the site, including those managed by other agents.
The Payment Gateway for Idram WordPress plugin before 2.1.6 does not verify the authenticity of incoming payment notifications, because the merchant credentials used to compute their checksum are empty by default, allowing unauthenticated attackers to forge a valid payment confirmation and mark arbitrary orders as paid, and to force arbitrary orders into a failed state regardless of the gateway's configuration.
The Modern Events Calendar Lite WordPress plugin before 7.37.0, Modern Event Calendar Pro WordPress plugin before 7.37.0 do not sanitise and escape a parameter before using it in a SQL statement, which allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access and above to append additional SQL queries into already existing queries and extract sensitive data from the database.
The Synchrony Financing WordPress plugin before 1.1.2 does not properly authorise requests to one of its REST routes that modifies WooCommerce orders, allowing unauthenticated attackers to reassign any order to an account they control, tamper with its details, and read the associated customer's personal data.
In OpenStack Cinder through 29.0.0, cross-project information disclosure can occur in the Messages API. A non-admin user with the project-scoped 'member' or 'reader' role making the Block Storage API v3.3 "List messages" call finds the non-expired user messages for other projects included in the response, resulting in the leakage of UUIDs of resources owned by other projects, in addition to the user message about the other projects' resources (which, by design, are sanitized generic messages). All Cinder deployments are affected.
In OpenStack Manila before 23.0.1, multiple Manila API operations on public shares do not verify that the caller owns the share. The API controllers authorize operations against the caller's own project context, then load a foreign public share without re-authorizing against the share's actual owner. This affects the following operations: allow_access: grant data-plane read/write access to another tenant's share; deny_access: revoke the owner's existing access rules; update_access: escalate access level (e.g., ro to rw); create_share_backup: exfiltrate share data via a backup created under the attacker's project; soft_delete: move a foreign share to the recycle bin; restore: interfere with the owner's deletion workflow; export location metadata: create, update, and delete metadata on foreign export locations; access rule listing: disclose IPs, usernames, and CephFS keys. Any authenticated project member can exploit these operations on any public share. The share UUID is visible since the share is public.
CVE-2026-82819 is a path traversal vulnerability in Cerberus FTP Server that allows an authenticated remote attacker to perform UNC path injection. By manipulating a parameter to supply a malicious SMB share path, the attacker can coerce authentication attempts from the server, leading to leakage of the Cerberus service account's Net-NTLMv2 hash. This vulnerability has been fixed in Cerberus FTP Server version 2026.3.0.
Accenture, Dragos, and the SANS Institute have launched a $10 million initiative called the Community Cyber Resilience Foundation to help under-resourced small US utilities defend their operational technology (OT) environments. The first phase targets up to 500 water, electric, and natural gas utilities with annual revenues under $100 million, providing free security tools, equipment, deployment assistance, and training. The initiative aims to address challenges faced by small utilities such as limited funding, workforce shortages, and aging technology. Participants receive the Dragos Platform and related services, with Accenture managing setup and support, and SANS providing ICS/OT security training. This effort builds on Dragos's existing Community Defense Program and responds to recent attacks on US water systems. The program is intended to improve cyber resilience in critical infrastructure sectors serving millions of Americans.
A security vulnerability has been detected in DT42 BerryNet up to 3.10.2. The affected element is the function DLModelManager.get_model_meta of the file berrynet/dlmodelmgr.py of the component Model Package Metadata Handler. The manipulation of the argument label leads to path traversal. The attack is possible to be carried out remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
A weakness has been identified in projectworlds Advanced Library Management System 1.0. Impacted is the function mysqli_query of the file report_search.php. Executing a manipulation of the argument dateto/datefrom can lead to sql injection. The attack can be executed remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks.
