CVE-2026-41679 is a critical improper authentication vulnerability in Paperclip, a Node.js server and React UI platform for orchestrating AI agents. Prior to version 2026.416.0, an unauthenticated attacker can remotely execute arbitrary code on any network-accessible Paperclip instance running in authenticated mode with default configuration. The attack requires no user interaction or credentials and involves a chain of six API calls. The vulnerability is patched in version 2026.416.0.
CVE-2026-40946 is a critical improper authentication vulnerability in oxia versions prior to 0.16.2. The issue arises because the OIDC authentication provider sets SkipClientIDCheck to true, disabling audience claim validation and allowing tokens intended for other services from the same OIDC issuer to be accepted by oxia. This flaw could lead to unauthorized access. The vulnerability is fixed in version 0.16.2. No known exploits are reported in the wild.
frp is a fast reverse proxy. From 0.43.0 to 0.68.0, frp contains an authentication bypass in the HTTP vhost routing path when routeByHTTPUser is used as part of access control. In proxy-style requests, the routing logic uses the username from Proxy-Authorization to select the routeByHTTPUser backend, while the access control check uses credentials from the regular Authorization header. As a result, an attacker who can reach the HTTP vhost entrypoint and knows or can guess the protected routeByHTTPUser value may access a backend protected by httpUser / httpPassword even with an incorrect Proxy-Authorization password. This issue affects deployments that explicitly use routeByHTTPUser. It does not affect ordinary HTTP proxies that do not use this feature. This vulnerability is fixed in 0.68.1.
HKUDS OpenHarness prior to PR #159 remediation contains a session key derivation vulnerability that allows authenticated participants in shared chats or threads to hijack other users' sessions by exploiting a shared ohmo session key that lacks sender identity verification. Attackers can reuse another user's conversation state and replace or interrupt their active tasks by colliding into the same session boundary through the shared chat or thread scope.
Dell PowerProtect Data Domain with Data Domain Operating System (DD OS) of Feature Release versions 8.4 through 8.5 contain an improper authentication vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access.
Dell PowerProtect Data Domain with Data Domain Operating System (DD OS) of Feature Release versions 8.4 through 8.5 contain an improper authentication vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access.
Vikunja is an open-source self-hosted task management platform. Prior to 2.3.0, the OIDC callback handler issues a full JWT token without checking whether the matched user has TOTP two-factor authentication enabled. When a local user with TOTP enrolled is matched via the OIDC email fallback mechanism, the second factor is completely skipped. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.3.0.
CVE-2026-4664 is an authentication bypass vulnerability in the Customer Reviews for WooCommerce WordPress plugin up to version 5.103.0. The flaw arises because the plugin's permission check compares a user-supplied key to an order meta value without verifying that the stored key is non-empty. When the stored key is empty (for orders without a review reminder email sent), an attacker can supply an empty key to bypass authentication. This allows unauthenticated attackers to submit, modify, and inject product reviews via the REST API endpoint, with reviews auto-approved by default.
Flux notification-controller is the event forwarder and notification dispatcher for the GitOps Toolkit controllers. Prior to 1.8.3, the gcr Receiver type in Flux notification-controller does not validate the email claim of Google OIDC tokens used for Pub/Sub push authentication. This allows any valid Google-issued token, to authenticate against the Receiver webhook endpoint, triggering unauthorized Flux reconciliations. Exploitation requires the attacker to know the Receiver's webhook URL. The webhook path is generated as /hook/sha256sum(token+name+namespace), where the token is a random string stored in a Kubernetes Secret. There is no API or endpoint that enumerates webhook URLs. An attacker cannot discover the path without either having access to the cluster and permissions to read the Receiver's .status.webhookPath in the target namespace, or obtaining the URL through other means (e.g.leaked secrets or access to Pub/Sub config). Upon successful authentication, the controller triggers a reconciliation for all resources listed in the Receiver's .spec.resources. However, the practical impact is limited: Flux reconciliation is idempotent, so if the desired state in the configured sources (Git, OCI, Helm) has not changed, the reconciliation results in a no-op with no effect on cluster state. Additionally, Flux controllers deduplicate reconciliation requests, sending many requests in a short period results in only a single reconciliation being processed. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.8.3.
Laravel Passport provides OAuth2 server support to Laravel. From 13.0.0 to before 13.7.1, there is an Authentication Bypass for client_credentials tokens.the league/oauth2-server library sets the JWT sub claim to the client identifier (since there's no user). The token guard then passes this value to retrieveById() without validating it's actually a user identifier, potentially resolving an unrelated real user. Any machine-to-machine token can inadvertently authenticate as an actual user. This vulnerability is fixed in 13.7.1.
In Eclipse Jetty, the class JASPIAuthenticator initiates the authentication checks, which set two ThreadLocal variable.
Upon returning from the initial checks, there are conditions that cause an early return from the JASPIAuthenticator code without clearing those ThreadLocals.
A subsequent request using the same thread inherits the ThreadLocal values, leading to a broken access control and privilege escalation.
PolarLearn is a free and open-source learning program. In 0-PRERELEASE-15 and earlier, POST /api/v1/auth/sign-in creates a valid session for banned accounts before verifying the supplied password. That session is then accepted across authenticated /api routes, enabling account data access and authenticated actions as the banned user.
CVE-2026-39324 is a critical improper authentication vulnerability in rack-session versions 2.0.0 up to but not including 2.1.2. The vulnerability arises because Rack::Session::Cookie incorrectly handles decryption failures by falling back to a default decoder instead of rejecting the cookie. This flaw allows an unauthenticated attacker to supply a crafted session cookie that is accepted as valid without knowing any configured secret, enabling manipulation of session contents and potential unauthorized access. The issue is fixed in version 2.1.2.
LiteLLM is a proxy server (AI Gateway) to call LLM APIs in OpenAI (or native) format. Prior to 1.83.0, when JWT authentication is enabled (enable_jwt_auth: true), the OIDC userinfo cache uses token[:20] as the cache key. JWT headers produced by the same signing algorithm generate identical first 20 characters. This configuration option is not enabled by default. Most instances are not affected. An unauthenticated attacker can craft a token whose first 20 characters match a legitimate user's cached token. On cache hit, the attacker inherits the legitimate user's identity and permissions. This affects deployments with JWT/OIDC authentication enabled. Fixed in v1.83.0.
OAuthenticator is software that allows OAuth2 identity providers to be plugged in and used with JupyterHub. Prior to version 17.4.0, an authentication bypass vulnerability in oauthenticator allows an attacker with an unverified email address on an Auth0 tenant to login to JupyterHub. When email is used as the usrname_claim, this gives users control over their username and the possibility of account takeover. This issue has been patched in version 17.4.0.
CVE-2026-34990 is an improper authentication vulnerability in OpenPrinting CUPS versions 2.4.16 and earlier. A local unprivileged user can trick the CUPS daemon into authenticating to a malicious localhost IPP service using a reusable authorization token. This token allows the attacker to perform administrative requests locally, including creating a printer queue with a file URI that bypasses normal policy restrictions. Exploiting this flaw can lead to arbitrary root file overwrites, enabling privilege escalation to root. No patches or official fixes are available at the time of publication.
Hirschmann HiEOS devices versions prior to 01.1.00 contain an authentication bypass vulnerability in the HTTP(S) management module that allows unauthenticated remote attackers to gain administrative access by sending specially crafted HTTP(S) requests. Attackers can exploit improper authentication handling to obtain elevated privileges and perform unauthorized actions including configuration download or upload and firmware modification.
Bulwark Webmail is a self-hosted webmail client for Stalwart Mail Server. Prior to version 1.4.10, the verifyIdentity() function contained logic that returned true if no session cookies were present. This allowed unauthenticated attackers to bypass security checks and access/modify user settings via the /api/settings endpoint by providing arbitrary headers. This issue has been patched in version 1.4.10.
