IBM Financial Transaction Manager (FTM) for RedHat OpenShift could allow a remote attacker to perform unauthorized actions due to improper authentication and missing authorization.
MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the HTTP transport accepts requests without a verified user identity and downstream fetcher construction falls back to the operator's globally configured Jira or Confluence credentials. A network client that can reach the MCP endpoint can invoke Atlassian tools as the operator, including read and write operations available to that account. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through UserTokenMiddleware, AtlassianOpaqueTokenVerifier, _get_fetcher, and streamable-http, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0.
NVIDIA Infrastructure Controller for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker could cause an improper authentication issue. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to escalation of privileges, information disclosure, and data tampering.
Hatchet is a platform for orchestrating background tasks, AI agents, and durable workflows at scale. Prior to 0.91.1, ValidateOAuthState clears the oauth_state_ session value to an empty string after a successful OAuth callback and later accepts an empty state parameter as equal, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to bind a victim's Hatchet session to an attacker-controlled OAuth identity. Exploitation requires the victim to have completed an OAuth flow in the current session and the deployment to enable auth.google.enabled, auth.github.enabled, or the Slack integration. This issue is fixed in version 0.91.1.
nginx ignition is a user interface for the nginx web server. In versions 2.33.0 through 2.35.0, any user that has enabled the OTP 2FA can have their TOTP reused during the standard 30 second validity window. Version 2.35.1 patches the issue.
The Better Messages plugin for WordPress up to version 2.15.33 has an authentication bypass vulnerability. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to impersonate internal AI bot accounts by manipulating the X-Real-IP header during guest registration. As a result, attackers can bypass access controls to join restricted chat rooms, post messages, and read private message histories.
CVE-2026-75878 is a critical vulnerability in IBM Sterling File Gateway version 6.2.0.0 that allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by exploiting improper validation of an SSO header. This flaw enables attackers to obtain a fully authenticated session without valid credentials.
A vulnerability was identified in Forget-C Jellyfish AI Short Drama Studio 0.1.0-alpha/0.2.0/0.3.0/0.3.1/0.3.2. This affects an unknown function of the file backend/app/dependencies.py of the component FastAPI. The manipulation leads to missing authentication. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The reported GitHub issue was closed automatically due to inactivity.
A security vulnerability has been detected in gedelumbung HospitalManagement up to c2d45543789a3887067d3915f69d44cfc2cf76a8. This issue affects the function application/modules/global/controllers/password.php::simpan/application/modules/global/controllers/profil.php::simpan of the file application/modules/global/controllers/password.php of the component Password Change Handler. Such manipulation of the argument kode_user/username leads to improper authentication. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. This product operates on a rolling release basis, ensuring continuous delivery. Consequently, there are no version details for either affected or updated releases. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet.
An improper authentication vulnerability has been reported to affect product. The remote attackers can then exploit the vulnerability to compromise the security of the system.
QTS is not affected.
We have already fixed the vulnerability in the following version:
The UpsellWP WordPress plugin before 2.2.10 does not check that products added to the cart through a Frequently Bought Together campaign belong to that campaign, allowing unauthenticated users to buy arbitrary products at the campaign's discounted price.
Any authenticated user can lock or unlock files they do not own by targeting absolute WebDAV paths of other users. The DAV plugin resolves files from the absolute request URI without verifying that the path segment matches the authenticated session user. This enables:
Cross-user manual locks : attacker locks a victim's files, blocking writes (PUT/MOVE/DELETE, editor saves).
Lock-token disclosure: the app returns the lock token to unauthorized callers, enabling them to remove token-based locks (client locks) of other users.
CVE-2026-54510 is an improper authentication vulnerability in murtaza-nasir speakr, a self-hosted transcription web app. Versions prior to 0.8.21-alpha allow an attacker to bypass CSRF protection by sending a crafted token in a query parameter, which disables CSRF checks for the targeted view during the worker lifetime. This can lead to unauthorized modifications of user profile data, settings, and administrative status. Additionally, the change_password route can be abused to set a local password on SSO-only accounts without verifying the current password. The issue is fixed in version 0.8.21-alpha.
AsyncHttpClient versions from 3.0.8 up to but not including 3.0.12 contain an improper authentication vulnerability in the SCRAM and Digest authentication processing. The library logs mismatches in server signature verification but still accepts the response as authenticated, potentially allowing an unauthenticated peer to be accepted as the server on non-TLS or compromised transports. This issue is fixed in version 3.0.12.
Vendure is an open-source headless commerce platform. Prior to 3.7.0, ExternalAuthenticationService.createCustomerAndUser in packages/core/src/service/helpers/external-authentication/external-authentication.service.ts selects an existing customer user by emailAddress and attaches a newly presented ExternalAuthenticationMethod without requiring verified to be true. In deployments with a custom external AuthenticationStrategy that forwards an email whose ownership the provider has not verified, an attacker can authenticate with a victim's email and bind the attacker's external identity to the victim's existing account. This can expose orders, addresses, and personal information and permit account changes or orders as the victim. Native-only email and password deployments and external strategies that always require provider-verified email ownership are unaffected, and new-account creation for an unused email remains permitted. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.0.
Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker to be signed in as another user by linking an OAuth2 identity to an account that is not theirs.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.OAuth2.UserResolver.resolve/3 matches an existing account using the register action's upsert_identity keys, then gates linking the incoming provider identity to it on email_trusted?/2, which reads only the provider's email_verified boolean and never compares the provider's email value with the matched account's email. That gate assumes the account was matched by its email field, so under any other upsert_identity it is vacuous and an attacker presenting their own verified email is attached to, and issued a session for, an account matched on some other attribute. The same unguarded gate applies in OAuth2.SignInPreparation on the registration_enabled? false path, where the account is matched by the sign-in action's read filter instead. The upsert also rewrites the matched account's email to the attacker's address, so later account recovery reaches the attacker rather than the owner.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 4.14.0 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.10 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
Improper Authentication vulnerability in team-alembic AshAuthentication allows an attacker holding a sign-in token for one authenticated resource to be signed in as a user of a different resource.
AshAuthentication.Strategy.Password.SignInWithTokenPreparation.extract_primary_keys_from_subject/2 parses the JWT sub claim (for example user?id=1) with URI.parse/1 and keeps only its query string, discarding the path segment that names the subject the token was issued for. Nothing else restores that binding: AshAuthentication.Jwt.verify/3 checks the signature, exp, nbf, jti and the library-version claims, the purpose check only requires sign_in, and the remaining comparison is over primary-key field names, which are identical across resources. The WebAuthn sign-in and remember-me preparations carry copies of the same helper and drop the path in the same way. The magic link sign-in path pins the subject name against the resource and is not affected.
This issue affects ash_authentication: from 3.10.5 before 4.15.0 and from 5.0.0-rc.0 before 5.0.0-rc.14.
Authorised users of outside applications behind the same corporate identity provider (IdP), for example, a wiki, a ticketing system, an expenses tool, or anything they legitimately hold an account on can log into their system via SAML SSO. The IdP issues an assertion to them. If that assertion is presented to NeuVector, NeuVector accepts it because the only thing distinguishing "an assertion for NeuVector" from "an assertion for the wiki" is the element, and the `NotInAudience` warning that reports the mismatch is never read.
The Login with QR WordPress plugin through 1.0.0 does not verify that the code used to log a user in is one it issued, matching any stored user metadata value instead, which allows unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators.
The Pressengine WordPress plugin through 1.0 does not stop its login handler from issuing a session when authentication fails, allowing unauthenticated attackers to log in as any user, including administrators.
