A vulnerability in actix-web allows compressed request bodies to exhaust memory or CPU resources before size limits are enforced by body extractors. This occurs because the decompression layer does not respect the size limits set by extractors, enabling a small compressed request to expand into a large allocation. This can lead to denial of service in applications that accept compressed request bodies with compression enabled. The issue is fixed in actix-web version 4.18.2 and actix-http 3.20.1 or later. As a workaround, rejecting compressed request bodies at a reverse proxy or middleware before extraction is recommended.
A vulnerability in actix-http's HTTP/1 chunked decoder allows request smuggling via malformed chunked request trailers. The decoder incorrectly accepts a bare line feed after the final chunk as the start of a trailer instead of rejecting the request. This flaw can cause the decoder to consume the next request's headers as trailer data, potentially bypassing access controls enforced by proxies or web application firewalls. The issue is fixed in actix-http version 3.20.2.
Versions 0.11.0 and 0.11.1 of vodozemac have degraded secret zeroization capabilities due to changes in third-party cryptographic dependencies. This results in more memory copies of encryption secrets and longer retention of secrets in memory, marginally increasing the risk of sensitive data exposure. The issue is fixed in version 0.11.2.
The actix-files crate for Rust has a vulnerability where hidden files on Windows volumes using 8.3 short names can be accessed via their short-name aliases. This bypasses the default path check that blocks dot-prefixed segments, allowing remote clients to read sensitive files like .env or .git/config even if hidden files are not enabled. This can lead to exposure of secrets or source code. The issue is fixed in actix-files version 0.7.4.
CVE-2026-85111 is a high-severity vulnerability in Apache James server versions prior to 3.9.1. It involves allocation of resources without limits or throttling in the Apache James Mime4J library before version 0.8.15, which can lead to denial of service when parsing MIME messages. The issue is fixed in Apache James 3.9.1, which uses the updated MIME4J 0.8.15 library.
Allocation of Resources Without Limits or Throttling in Apache James Mime4J library prior version 0.8.15 allows Denial of Service upon parsing Mime messages.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.8.15 which fixes the issue by enforcing new limits and providing better defaults.
A flaw was found in Moodle. Insufficient access control checks on H5P content files allow unauthenticated remote attackers to view restricted materials, including content stored in the system context and files belonging to hidden or unavailable course modules. This issue results in unauthorized information disclosure of protected content.
In Apache James server prior version 3.9.1 relying on the SieveFileRepository incorect validation of file paths can result in path transversal, allowing to set arbitrary SIEVE scripts for other users.
This allows a logged in attacker to set arbitrary SIEVE scripts for other users, resulting in denial of service or even traffic capture.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.1 which fixes this issue.
Some docker-compose shipped by the project exposes by default Webadmin REST API publically without proper authentication setup.
Version 3.9.1 onward sets a random credential by default on unprotected webadmin endpoints to prevent this while retain convenience.
In Apache James server prior version 3.9.1 improper validation in JMAP webPush SSRF validation did lead to the possibility to reach internal addresses.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.1 which fixes this issue.
In Apache James server prior version 3.9.1 improper Access Control List processing is exposed by the JMAP protocol which do not account for negative rules positionned by IMAP protocol.
This results in users being able to administer folders in JMAP despite having being explicitly denied the right to do so in IMAP.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 3.9.1 which fixes this issue.
Apache James SASL OAuthBearer/XOAUTH2 prior versions 3.9.1 fails to validate correctly AUD claim of JWT payloads when introspection is not configured.
This allows an attacker with valid credentials to access the mail server even if they are not authorized to do so.
We recommend users to upgrade to non vulnerable version that forces explicit configuration of aud claims and forces introspection.
Multiple security vulnerabilities were discovered in the Linux kernel for NVIDIA Tegra systems, including an issue in the io_uring subsystem that improperly handles canceled task work during certain wait operations. This flaw can cause operations to execute in the wrong task context, potentially allowing a local attacker to cause a denial of service (system crash). The update addresses numerous security flaws across a wide range of kernel subsystems and drivers. A patch is available and users are advised to update to the fixed kernel version and reboot. Due to ABI changes, third-party kernel modules may need recompilation.
The The AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary shortcode execution in all versions up to, and including, 1.1.18. This is due to the software allowing users to execute an action that does not properly validate a value before running do_shortcode. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with custom-level access and above, to execute arbitrary shortcodes. The vulnerable output block is gated by the 'ampforwp-cat-description' setting, which is enabled by default, meaning the vast majority of installations are affected without any additional configuration change.
The RSS Aggregator by Feedzy – Feed to Post, Autoblogging, News & YouTube Video Feeds Aggregator plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'item_title (parsed from feed <item><title>)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.2.13 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. This requires an administrator to have previously configured a Feed-to-Post import pointing at an attacker-controlled feed URL, after which the attacker can rotate payloads at will without any further interaction with the site.
The BuddyForms plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'bf_post_type (and buddyforms_form_content)' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.10.5 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires that at least one BuddyForms form with public submissions enabled exists on the site (so that the required nonce can be harvested from the public form page) and that the active theme registers a widgetized sidebar, allowing the injected customize_changeset to place a malicious Custom HTML widget into the site's front end.
The Smart Cookie Kit plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'comment' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.2 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The payload is specifically crafted to survive wp_kses on save by storing hostile characters inside allowed HTML elements, with the attribute-breaking double-quote smuggled inside a permitted <code> body and reconstructed into a <abbr title> attribute only at render time by the plugin's own output buffer; exploitation requires an administrator to approve the comment and subsequently view the affected public post.
The Live2DWebCanvas plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Arbitrary File Upload in all versions up to, and including, 2.2.1 via the download_one_file function. This is due to missing file extension whitelist and MIME type validation in download_one_file() when writing files derived from attacker-controlled manifest entries to the web-served plugin directory. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to upload files that may be executable, which makes remote code execution possible when the plugin's apiType setting is configured as custom-local (self-hosted model mode), a non-default option that requires a paid license and prints the REST nonce and one-time session tokens into every front-end page.
The Advanced Members for ACF plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 1.3.0 via the `acf[_amem_local_user_password]` parameter of the `[advanced-members-account-password]` shortcode form submission. This is due to a PHP operator-precedence bug in the `pre_update_value` function of `acf/fields/class-user-password.php` that assigns boolean `true` instead of the resolved user ID to `$user_id`, causing the `_can_edit()` authorization check to pass for any logged-in user via PHP loose equality, and causing `wp_update_user()` to cast `'ID' => true` to integer `1` — unconditionally targeting the primary administrator account. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to overwrite the password of user ID 1 (the site's primary administrator) with an attacker-chosen value, granting full administrative access to the site. The intended exclusion guard in `Account::process` that strips the password field before saving is defeated because `amem_save_all_fields()` re-reads the full field list from `amem()->submission` and silently overwrites the caller-supplied excluded fields array with an empty array, ensuring the password field is always processed.
The All-in-One Video Gallery – Video Player & Galleries for YouTube, Vimeo & Self-Hosted Videos plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored DOM-Based Cross-Site Scripting via the 'custom_fields[].value.label (for key='track')' parameter in all versions up to, and including, 5.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with subscriber-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. Exploitation requires the site's Player Library option to be configured as Plyr/Vidstack (aiovg_player_settings[player]='vidstack') rather than the Video.js default, as the DOM innerHTML sink exists only in the Plyr/Vidstack template path.
