CVE-2026-57199 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the Asterisk telephony toolkit affecting the app_sms.c component. It occurs when SMS lengths controlled externally are copied into fixed-size buffers without proper bounds checking, potentially allowing memory corruption or crashes. The vulnerability affects versions prior to 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, and certain Certified Asterisk releases. The issue requires explicit use of the SMS dialplan application and improper validation of input data. Fixed versions are available.
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, `ast_loggrabber` executes a `Python script` from the world-writable `/tmp` directory. An attacker already authorized to open a shell session on the Asterisk server may place a malicious script there and gain elevated privileges or execute code when an administrator runs `ast_loggrabber` as a user with elevated privileges. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, the `PostgreSQL` and `TDS/MSSQL` Channel Event Log backends `cel_pgsql` and `cel_tds` may permit arbitrary SQL execution when untrusted data is set in the CEL `eventtype` column by the `CELGenUserEvent` dialplan application. The `cel_pgsql` or `cel_tds` backend must be loaded and configured, and the administrator must call `CELGenUserEvent` in the dialplan without ensuring that only valid data is passed to the application. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.
CVE-2026-57191 is a high-severity classic stack buffer overflow vulnerability in Asterisk's res_pjsip_pubsub module. It occurs due to an unbounded sscanf call when parsing the MWI NOTIFY Message-Account field. An unauthenticated attacker can send a crafted packet to trigger this overflow, corrupting the transport and disabling all SIP functionality until the service is restarted. Fixed versions are available.
CVE-2026-57192 is a medium severity vulnerability in Asterisk's Codec2 decoder that allows an authenticated attacker to cause a heap buffer overflow via an out-of-bounds write. The flaw arises from a floor/ceil sample-count mismatch when the codec_codec2 module is loaded and Codec2 is configured on the endpoint. Exploitation requires SIP authentication and establishing a call using Codec2 with crafted audio packets. Fixed versions include Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. From 21.0.0-pre1 until Asterisk 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 22.8-cert3, the `chan_ooh323` `Q.931 party-number parser` lacks the `CVE-2022-37325` fix because that fix was never forward-ported from Asterisk 20 to later versions. Malformed Q.931 elements in an `OOH323 request` can therefore crash Asterisk. This issue affects Asterisk versions greater than 20. The `chan_ooh323` addon channel driver must be explicitly compiled and installed, which is not the default, and its port must be publicly reachable. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 22.8-cert3.
CVE-2026-57200 is a path traversal vulnerability in Asterisk affecting versions prior to 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, and Certified Asterisk 22.8-cert3. An authenticated attacker with read-only Asterisk REST Interface (ARI) credentials may exploit this to perform write operations via REST-over-WebSocket, leading to arbitrary module path loading and potential remote code execution. The vulnerability requires the Asterisk HTTP server to be enabled and reachable, which is disabled and bound to localhost by default. This issue has been fixed in the specified versions.
CVE-2026-57195 is a high-severity vulnerability in Asterisk's Manager Interface (AMI) that allows an unauthenticated attacker to cause a denial of service via a NULL pointer dereference. This occurs when Digest Authentication is used over HTTP and the HTTP server, AMI, and AMI HTTP access are all enabled. The HTTP server binds to 127.0.0.1 by default, limiting exposure. The issue is fixed in Asterisk versions 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11 and 22.8-cert3.
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. Prior to Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3, an authenticated Asterisk REST Interface (ARI) attacker with read-only privileges may use `setChannelVar` to execute write dialplan functions, including `FILE()` writes, even when `live_dangerously` in `asterisk.conf` is set to no. The Asterisk HTTP web server must be enabled and reachable, and the attacker must already have valid `read-only ARI credentials`. HTTP is disabled by default and binds only to 127.0.0.1 by default even when enabled. This issue is fixed in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11, 22.8-cert3.
CVE-2026-57188 is a high-severity stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the res_xmpp module of Asterisk, an open source telephony toolkit. It affects versions prior to 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1 and certain Certified Asterisk releases. An authenticated attacker with an XMPP account on the same or federated server can exploit this by sending crafted packets to cause out-of-bounds writes. The vulnerability requires the res_xmpp module to be loaded and an XMPP connection configured. Fixed versions are available.
Asterisk is an open source private branch exchange and telephony toolkit. In affected deployments, an authenticated attacker may cause a `T.140 RED` out-of-bounds write during `generation accumulation` using carefully crafted packets, potentially allowing remote code execution or causing Asterisk to crash. The `chan_sip` channel driver must be installed and configured, and its `textsupport` option must be enabled; `textsupport` defaults to no. `The chan_sip driver was deprecated in Asterisk 20 and completely removed in all later versions.` Repository comparisons verify patch containment in Asterisk 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1 and 23.4.1, and Certified Asterisk 20.7-cert11 and 22.8-cert3. The affected release-track scope remains unresolved: structured metadata includes later release tracks even though the advisory says the required `chan_sip` driver was removed there.
CVE-2026-57201 is a high-severity stack buffer overflow vulnerability in the Asterisk telephony toolkit's H.323 chan_ooh323 addon channel driver. It arises from an unbounded vsprintf write into a fixed 2048-byte buffer in the ooTrace() trace-logging function. This can cause the Asterisk process to crash when processing a crafted packet. The vulnerable chan_ooh323 driver is not enabled by default and requires explicit compilation and a publicly reachable port. The issue is fixed in multiple Asterisk releases including 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, 23.4.1, and Certified Asterisk versions 20.7-cert11 and 22.8-cert3.
CVE-2026-57194 is an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the chan_unistim module of Asterisk, an open source telephony toolkit. The flaw allows an attacker to overflow the phone_number field and crash the system by sending a crafted incoming request packet. Exploitation requires the chan_unistim module to be loaded and configured with a reachable UNISTIM UDP port, and the attacker must register as a configured phone MAC or use an equivalent provisioning path. This vulnerability affects multiple Asterisk versions prior to fixed releases and has a medium severity rating with a CVSS score of 5.9.
CVE-2026-57198 is a heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability in the Asterisk telephony toolkit affecting the chan_sip channel driver when the textsupport option is enabled. An authenticated attacker can exploit this flaw by sending crafted T.140 RED packets, potentially causing remote code execution or crashing the system. The chan_sip driver is deprecated in Asterisk 20 and removed in later versions. Fixes are available in multiple Asterisk versions including 20.20.1, 21.12.3, 22.10.1, and 23.4.1.
CVE-2026-57185 is a buffer over-read vulnerability in the PJSIP MWI body parser of Asterisk, an open source telephony toolkit.
