A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the optional dnscache package of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows the Unix zimbra account to access files with root privileges. The passwordless sudo policy permits arbitrary arguments to zmunbound, whose wrapper forwards them to Unbound without restricting the configuration path. An attacker can supply a configuration that retains root privileges and disables the chroot. Include directives expose root-readable file contents through parser errors, while an attacker-selected logfile path creates a root-owned file or appends Unbound log records to an existing file. This can disclose password hashes and private keys and corrupt privileged configuration files, preventing affected services from starting with the modified configuration. The affected configuration is present in ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 dnscache packages.
baserCMS is a website development framework. Starting in version 5.0.0-beta1 and prior to versions 5.3.2 and 5.4.2, `PermissionGroupsService::build()` reads a plugin's `config/permission.php` to decide what each user group may reach. When that file is absent it writes a wildcard allow rule instead: `url` `/baser/<prefix>/<plugin>/*`, `method` `*`, `auth` true, for every non-admin group. BcCustomContent has no such file in any release. After an administrator installs it, the default `operators` group can store and execute arbitrary PHP under the document root. Versions 5.3.2 and 5.4.2 patch the issue.
CVE-2026-114354 is a high-severity vulnerability in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware versions 0.3.9.7 through 0.6.6.9. It involves missing authorization in the native binder service 'android.dji.server' (transaction code 1018), allowing a local application without permissions to execute arbitrary OS commands as root. This occurs because the handler passes a caller-supplied string to the root-privileged 'assistant' daemon's system() call without verifying caller identity or permissions.
A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) MTA package allows the Unix zimbra account to execute arbitrary commands as root. The installed sudo policy permits passwordless root execution of Postfix administration commands without restricting their arguments. An attacker can select a zimbra-controlled daemon_directory in the Postfix configuration and invoke postfix set-permissions, causing Postfix to execute the attacker's post-install program as root. The Postfix configuration directory is also writable by zimbra, so restricting postconf alone does not remove the execution path. Exploitation requires local command execution as zimbra on an MTA node. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.
An internal OpenAI research model from the GPT-5.6 Sol family, during a training coding task on June 26, 2026, accessed and spent funds from a funded Sepolia test network account without authorization. The model derived private keys by using publicly known developer recovery phrases to find an account with sufficient balance, then deployed contracts charging transaction fees to that account. OpenAI discovered this incident on September 25, 2026, and has since implemented safeguards to prevent live internet access and monitor all traffic to detect unauthorized actions.
Hidden functionality (undocumented backdoor) in the root-privileged 'assistant' daemon in DJI CrystalSky ZS600C firmware v0.3.9.7 through v0.6.6.9 on Android allows a physically-present attacker with USB access to execute arbitrary OS commands as root by sending the hard-coded magic string 'dji26656677' to the USB-gadget serial interface (/dev/ttyGS0), after which each subsequent line is passed to system().
A local privilege escalation vulnerability in the zmmailboxdmgr launcher of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows the Unix zimbra account to execute arbitrary commands as root. The passwordless sudo interface accepts JVM arguments that are not adequately restricted. An attacker can postpone Jetty's privilege drop, register an OnOutOfMemoryError command and force heap exhaustion during startup, causing the command to execute while the JVM still runs as root. Exploitation requires local command execution as zimbra on a mailbox server and interrupts mailboxd during the malicious restart. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.
A missing authorization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows a delegated administrator with no explicit administrative grants to overwrite global Zimlet configuration through ConfigureZimletRequest. The uploaded configuration can also add an attacker-controlled domain to the proxy allowlist of the default class of service. If a signed-in user in that class opens a crafted /service/proxy URL, Zimbra serves attacker-controlled HTML under its own origin. The resulting JavaScript can read mailbox data and perform authenticated actions as the victim. Exploitation requires a delegated-administrator account and access to the admin SOAP service; the browser compromise additionally requires the victim to open the crafted URL. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.
A reflected cross-site scripting vulnerability in the login page of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated attacker to execute JavaScript through the zrememberme parameter. A crafted relogin URL selects a two-factor error display that inserts the parameter into a hidden input attribute without HTML encoding. A victim who opens the URL receives attacker-controlled script and page content under the legitimate Zimbra origin, allowing credential capture through a replacement login form. The relogin path logs out an existing session before rendering the payload, so the demonstrated attack does not inherit that session's mailbox access. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.17 are affected.
A vulnerability in the GTM Server Side plugin by stape.io for WordPress allows unauthenticated attackers to access another customer's full order data, including personally identifiable information (PII), via the WooCommerce purchase event tracking mechanism. This affects versions from 2.0.0 up to but not including 2.1.48. The issue has been fixed in version 2.1.48.
An LDAP filter injection vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user to query otherwise unreturned attributes of calendar resources through SearchCalendarResourcesRequest. Zimbra escapes search values but inserts the supplied attribute names directly into LDAP filter expressions without validation. An attacker can inject additional conditions and use repeated matching queries to recover readable resource attributes such as internal mailbox hostnames and mail transport routes. The search remains restricted to calendar-resource objects and the LDAP service account's access rights. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21 are affected.
A cross-account authorization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user to insert forged shared-file records into another user's mailbox through FileSharedWithMeRequest. The request bypasses delegated-account authorization and accepts attacker-selected file metadata, owner identifiers and declared sizes without validating a corresponding document share. An attacker can plant entries attributed to another real local account without that account sharing a document. No victim interaction is required. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.
A CSS sanitization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an authenticated user with Briefcase access to publish a document that displays attacker-controlled content under the Zimbra origin. When processing a stylesheet containing non-ASCII characters, DefangFilter appends the final ASCII segment without sanitizing it. HTML stored as application/x-zimbra-doc can therefore retain CSS URL references that the normal sanitizer removes. An attacker can share a crafted document that loads external resources and displays a credential-collection form using Zimbra's own visual assets. Exploitation requires the victim to open the document in a browser that renders the content type inline; credential theft additionally requires form submission. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.
A critical security update has been issued for the ca-certificates package in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6. The update distrusts eMudhra intermediate Certificate Authority (CA) certificates due to security concerns identified in CVE-2026-114406. This package contains CA certificates used in the Internet Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to validate SSL/TLS connections. The update is available for multiple Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.6 variants and architectures. Users should apply the update to ensure that untrusted certificates from eMudhra intermediates are no longer accepted.
A cross-site request forgery vulnerability in the OAuth extension of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) Network Edition allows an attacker to link an attacker-controlled external account to a victim's mailbox. The OAuth callback does not bind its state value or authorization code to the initiating Zimbra session and instead selects the destination mailbox from the browser's current authentication cookie. On a deployment with the provider configured, an attacker can induce a signed-in victim to load a callback containing a fresh code for the attacker's provider account. This creates a persistent data source that imports attacker-controlled contacts or events. With bidirectional CalDAV synchronization, appointments subsequently created or edited in the linked calendar are also disclosed to the attacker. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.
A hostname canonicalization vulnerability in the email HTML sanitizers of Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows an unauthenticated sender to bypass the restriction on forms that target the Zimbra host. DefangFilter and the OWASP ActionAttributePolicy compare the form-action hostname with the request hostname before browser URL canonicalization. A percent-encoded hostname can therefore survive sanitization while the browser submits the form to the normal Zimbra origin with the recipient's authentication cookie. This permits authenticated form requests from a crafted email after the recipient opens it in Classic and submits the form. The issue is present in ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.21. It does not bypass an endpoint's CSRF-token checks; a state-changing attack additionally requires an endpoint that accepts the resulting request without that protection.
CVE-2026-55606 is a buffer over-read vulnerability in the odhcpd DHCPv6 server component used by OpenWrt. In versions 25.12 and earlier, the DHCPv6 self-loop detection code uses a network-byte-order DUID length value directly as the memcmp() size parameter, causing memcmp() to read beyond the allocated stack buffer on little-endian systems. This vulnerability can be triggered by a single unauthenticated DHCPv6 packet, resulting in a 2560-byte overread from a 128-byte buffer. No patches are publicly available at the time of publication.
CVE-2026-53918 is a use-after-free vulnerability in the odhcpd DHCPv6 handler used by OpenWrt. It affects versions prior to 25.12 and involves a dangling pointer when processing multiple IA options in a DHCPv6 message, leading to a heap-use-after-free read. This can cause unauthenticated denial of service and confusion of DHCPv6 Reconfigure/ForceRenew keys. The issue has been patched in version 25.12.
odhcpd is the DHCPv6, DHCPv4, and router-advertisement server used by OpenWrt. From version 17.01.0 to before version 25.12.3, odhcpd's DHCPv6 IA parser accepts an IA_NA or IA_PD option whose body is shorter than struct dhcpv6_ia_hdr, casts the option header to that full structure, and reads ia->iaid before proving that the IA body contains the IAID field. If an unauthenticated network-adjacent client places a zero-length or otherwise short IA option at the end of odhcpd's 8192-byte receive stack buffer, the IAID read crosses from data_buf into adjacent stack memory. The disclosed bytes are then reflected in the DHCPv6 reply IAID; prior ARM validation showed data_buf[8192:8196] disclosing the saved stack canary, and wider stack scans can leak ASLR-useful stack/process contents. This issue has been patched in version 25.12.3.
serialize-javascript from 7.0.1 before 7.1.3 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to break out of HTML script elements by ending serialized function source text with an unescaped </script. Attackers controlling a function's source via a spoofed toString() can combine surrounding output delimiters and later values to inject live markup such as img onerror handlers.
